New building project SPREE-ONE in Berlin built on Atlas piles
The diggers have been rolling in the plot of the former Spree-Towers on Dovestraße in Berlin Charlottenburg since the beginning of 2017. Where previously the Technical University of Berlin and the Deutsche Bundesbank had their offices, the demolition of the 25,000 m2, including the complexes from the 70s, started on the confluence of the Landwehr Canal and the Spree at the end of 2016.
After many years of planning sessions, the approx. 20,000 m2 project SPREE-ONE with SPREE-ONE Factory Loft Office & SPREE-ONE Living was built under architectural direction by Nöfer Architekten.
FRANKI was commissioned with the pile foundation and from January to April 2017 implemented some 710 Atlas piles with lengths of up to 8 m and diameters of 41/51 or 46/56 cm for the Optima-Aegidius-Firmengruppe. Ingenieurservice Grundbau GmbH (isg) developed the approval and implementation planning of the piles.
422 Atlas piles,
ds/db = 41/51 cm,
Nk ≤ 1,500 kN, L ≤ 8 m
294 Atlas piles,
ds/db = 46/56 cm,
Nk ≤ 1,900 kN, L ≤ 8 m
