Sheet pile walls
If the construction site and foundation soil situation permits, the shoring can be manufactured from sheet pile walls. Adapted to the local situation, the sheet piles are pressed, vibrated or rammed down to the required depth. In order to obtain sufficient water tightness of the sheet pile wall locks, these can be grouted prior to insertion.
If it is possible to execute the excavation pit with space to work, the sheet piles can be removed again after completion of the building. This substantially increases the economic efficiency of this shoring system.
There are a large number of profiles available for the execution of sheet pile wall excavation pits. The manufacture of sheet pile walls takes place in accordance with DIN 4124 or DIN EN 12063 as well as the recommendations by the Excavation Pit Working Group (EAB).
