Diaphragm wall elements . Barrettes
Diaphragm wall barrettes are executed in the DIN EN 1536 as non-piped, suspension-supported bored piles. As rectangular diaphragm wall elements, they are used for deep foundations. They can be designed as rectangular individual elements as well as cross, T or L-shaped elements. The applied loads are transferred via the point bearing pressure and skin friction.
Barrettes are used, for example, if construction site equipment and machinery is already available on the construction site due to the enclosure of the excavation pit with a diaphragm wall.
